Re: my EE sim not working in Germany

Did you activate roaming on your MyEE a/c before you left? Presumably not. Having a roaming allowance does not auto enable it. You may still be able to in your online a/c under Manage Devices. If not, you will need to call EE. Use the landline nos. in my sig.

Re: my EE sim not working in Germany

Hi and welcome to the Community @sultanuzma

So I can try and help, please may I get you to perform a manual network search and choose a network other than what you are on.

Please also can I get you to try and ring using 0044.

If these do not work, please let me know if you are using an EE personal or business account.

Many thanks,

Lee

Re: my EE sim not working in Germany

Hi lee

No it says emergency calls only!

So I cannot do anything

I could not even receive text sent with code to verify my no.

It's a personal account.

I think they put a bar on it. Can it be removed?

Or is the sim faulty?

I only came 1 week ago it was working ok there.

Hi @sultanuzma

As the suggestions have not worked, I have generated you a unique chat link to our customer service team, who will be happy to look into this for you.

This can be found in your Private Messages.

The link will be active from now till 9pm (UK TIME).

Let me know how you get on.

Many thanks,

Re: my EE sim not working in Germany

@sultanuzma  Roaming by default is not enabled.  No bar has been put in place the bar was already in place as you need to remove it by calling customer services before you leave the U.K.

Re: my EE sim not working in Germany

@sultanuzma  This is not EE customer service this is a public forum.  There is however EE staff on here who can send you a link to a private chat with EE customer services.

Re: my EE sim not working in Germany

Enjoy @sultanuzma

It's worth a visit to the stadium if you like football just to have a look

It's a shame Hertha Berlin are away to Dortmund tonight in the Cup the atmosphere would have been electric.

Also, if you like dance music, try to get into Berghain, It's like mission impossible to pass the bouncers Smiley Happy

Many thanks,

Lee
