international pack expiring January- how to renew for use in February?

Hi, I bought a GBP 10 international pack prepaid when I was in the UK in December, and it expires Jan 21st 2020. I still have most of the 10G data left. I am planning to go to France, Switzerland and Italy in February. The pack would be expired by then.

Would the SIM still be active if I add a pack or add-on prior to expiry?

Would the data left be able to be rolled over and active?

Thanks

Add-ons don't roll over data; only packs do.

Re: international pack expiring January- how to renew for use in February?

Hi there @Jny511

Thanks for coming to the community.

If you haven’t used your phone for any chargeable activity for 179 days, your account will go into hibernation, if you have used the SIM in this time it will still be active 🙂

If you have a pack that includes data rollover, you can roll the data over to your new pack.

You’ll need to renew your pack or plan within seven days of its expiry date to get your Data Rollover.

You would be able to use your minutes, texts and up to 15GB of data within 48 EU/EEA destinations

Hope you have a lovely time 🙂

Leanne.

These PAYG International Packs are auto renewing as long as you have the credit to buy them.

Top up £10 before 21 Jan & it it will auto renew then.

thanks for replying

when it renews though, does it just renew the 500 mb data, which I believe is the actual monthly allowance, or does the left over from the initial 10.5 Gb also renew?

also, I am not currently in the UK. can the topup be done from a foreign credit card?

Re: international pack expiring January- how to renew for use in February?

It will renew with the pack's normal 500 MB + what's left over from last month's 500 MB + your free Boosts earned, presumably 10 GB.

You cannot use a non-UK credit card to top-up. Call 360 to top-up from abroad with a UK credit card,

thanks for replying.

without a UK credit card, what are the options for renewing?

Can one ask a friend to go use their credit card? or can I get someone in the UK to "transfer" credit to my account?

Re: international pack expiring January- how to renew for use in February?

Instead of renew the previous international pack, can I purchase another add-on, such as a data add-on for GBP 7.50 (1G for 30 days) to keep the data roll-over?

Thanks.
