am abroad, phone just stolen, can't call to report - possible online?

Please help. I am abroad in the The Gambia and my phone has just been stolen (at 12.10am on 01/01/2017). I have tried to call EE to report but as it is New Year's Eve there are no phone lines available and I just can't get through by phone. Please advise if I can report online somehow and get the phone blocked? Thank you
