So I am abroad in Italy and I can't make any calls or texts because apparently call barring is active.
Supposedly I should still be able to receive calls so can someone from EE call me ASAP!!!
I need to contact family in the UK following an incident so this needs to be resolved NOW.
Good one EE just as you include monthly plans in the EU you then put up a roadblock up to stop us using it... doesn't surprise me. Yet another EE obstacle.

Hello @Kmoore1906 sorry to hear you are havibg problems using your phone abroad. Most if not all networks disable roaming by default on PAYM accounts not just EE.
You can check if roaming has been enabled on your account by logging in to MY EE online and navigating to MY EE>Manage device:
If it is not then customer service on +447953 966 250 from another phone have access to accounts and can look in to this for you. If it is an EE personal pay monthly account you can also access Live Chat:
Here is a link containing more information on setting up and using your phone abroad:

Hello @Kmoore1906 also try a manual network search to see what roaming networks are available and if any others work instead. Let me know how you get on if you have the time. 🙂

Hi @Kmoore1906 and welcome to the community.
So I can try and help, please may I get you to perform a manual network search and choose a network other than what you are on.
Please also can I get you to try and dial a friend or family member using format of 00447*********, did this work?
Also, please let me know If you are using an EE personal or business account as I may be able to assist with our live chat service?
