@Cprubix: It should but it is not in EU, so your UK allowances are not valid there. Have you bought an add-on for data? Can you make calls & texts.

Roaming charges there can be found in https://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/call-or-going-abroad/roaming-costs/countries/surina... .

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC => 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC => 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC => 2022: EE 80 Meg FTTC (no landline number)

No i cannot make calls or txt. The sim has worked in middle east, asia and usa. But has just stopped working.

Could just be the local networks. Try changing manually to others.

Thank you for confirming this @Cprubix

I have sent you a private message, please take a look and get back to me.

Speak soon, Katie 🙂

I’m having the same issue. Phone works everywhere else I’ve been. I’ve got an iPhone XR but I doubt the type of phone is the issue. Does EE have an agreement in place in Suriname??

@Cheese1174  Try putting your device on to 3G/2G only.   Definitely try restarting your device and you should do this when you arrive in a new destination.
