Why was I forbidden from network in Spain
Did you have roaming activated on your account?
Welcome to the community.
You can check if roaming is active within your My EE settings;
To do this log into your My EE account online, not the app.
Then go to Menu > Manage Device > Roaming and also Call abroad and Premium Rate calls.
They will both need to be ticked for you to use your phone abroad.
