I am a personal customer. I am unable to send texts or calls and am receiving an error 10 message.
Could someone please help?

Do you have roaming activated on your account?

Please try the troubleshooting below:-
Try re-booting your device
Try turning 4G off in ‘settings’
Perform a manual network search and try a different network:-
Please let me know if any of that works.

Firstly thank you very much for the response.
Unfortunately none of your solutions have helped unless I'm doing something wrong
I have a Sony xperia if that helps. I did a software update and reboot. Turned off 4g, and my data roaming is enabled.
Anything else I can try? D'oh

Apart from the phone problem you are having, I hope you are having a nice vacation in Bali and the cocktails are flowing 🙂
When you are preparing for your trip abroad, it is essential that roaming is activated before you go away.
In order to do this, all the information/set-up instructions can be found in our EE roaming - Getting ready to use your phone abroad support article.
I know on this occasion, you were aware that you needed to do this. I know it's not working at the moment for you.
However, we can help.
Please take a look at some of the hints, tips and tricks to get activated in our Roaming with EE - What to do if you're having problems abroad support article.
If none of the advice in the support article works, you may have an international bar present.
This will need account access at this point.
If you are a pay monthly personal EE customer, then log in to My EE and await a chat with an online advisor.
If you can't access this, then please call customer services from an alternative landline or mobile.

I've just spoken to a ee tech via your advice and hopefully in 24 hrs max I can send texts and dial out.
I can't complain, there's no need to say more than it's bali ha.
Well to be honest I'm grateful that ee put precautions on roaming abroad to stop an unexpected bill. Ive only been on ee a couple of months and usually O2 etc do not have any international blocks.
Usually I'd never want to text or dial out when abroad but I'm having to sort something out in the UK.
