If I'm in California and enable unconditional call forwarding with **21*PhoneNumber# will I be charged beyond bundled minutes when a call is forwarded? Presumably the network doesn't have to search for my phone? Also I presume this will just forward voice calls and not SMS?

@jonisbell Yes you’ll be charged for international calls if the forwarded call is not within the UK and yes only calls are forwarded.

It depends what the number is, not where the phone that it belongs to is. Is it a UK number, or another countries number?

hi @jonisbell For an unconditional divert to a UK number, the forwarded call will come out of your inclusive minutes as it's to a UK number. It doesn't matter where either phone is in the world. If you used up all your bundled minutes it'll be the standard charge to a UK mobile.
Always worth keeping an eye on MyEE for any charges just in case though, especially when abroad.
