Unable to send texts/make calls in France. Was working perfectly 5 days ago

I have a Nokia Lumia 635 which has worked perfectly in France for the last 4 years. I can receive calls and texts but not send. It says the mobile operator is 'Free' when usually it is Orange F. I have money on the phone. I have tried turning it off and on but still the same. Any ideas please?

Hello there @stvictorlin

Welcome to the community.

That is great advice from @Chris_B

If you can manually search for a different network in your phone settings.

Can you now connect to a network?

Speak soon, Leanne.

Thanks Chris

I have been through settings and have been unable to find anything that says
search for networks.

Can you try the below settings.

Settings > Mobile Network > Network Selection > Tap on start manual search

Let me know how you get on 🙂
