Unable to make calls in ireland

Hi. I am currently in the Republic of Ireland and I am unable to make any calls or send sms messages. My 4G is working. I am on PAYG but I need this to be urgently fixed as it is needed for work. I cannot ring 150.

Does your Pack allowance have any mins & texts left?

 

What does text AL to 150 report?

I have lots of minutes, texts and credit left. I am unable to text anyone either.

Welcome to the community, I hope you're having a brilliant trip so far. 🙂

 

Could you please check your My EE account to see if international calling is activated? You should find it under Menu > Manage Device.

@Christopher_G: There is no International calling option for PAYG accounts. They are auto roaming enabled.

@bfehin - Could you try manually connecting to a different Irish network?:

 

 

Device type Steps
Apple Settings > Carrier > Toggle Automatic OFF
Android Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Tap OK
Windows Settings > Mobile Network > Network Selection > Tap on start manual search
