USA Roaming Partners

Who are EE’s USA roaming partners?

The only network I can connect to is T-Mobile.

I’d like to connect to AT&T but it doesn’t seem to connect at all.

@Pagemakers   EE use T-Mobile and AT&T but depending on your location you might not be able to get onto the AT&T network.

Ah OK. I’m in Orlando. I see the AT&T network but when I connect to it, it says no service. I know there is service here because my mates on THREE roam on it.

Re: USA Roaming Partners

Any idea why you can’t use AT&T nationally?

Do you know where AT&T works in the USA?

Hi @Pagemakers and welcome to the community.

Your device will pick the best available network for you when it can, is there any reason you are wanting to use an alternative network?

Many thanks,

Lee

Re: USA Roaming Partners

I want to use AT&T because it has better coverage than T Mobile

It appears when I manually search but when I connect it it it says No Service.

I thought AT&T were a USA partner.

When I was with THREE it defaulted to T Mobile but I could freely roam on AT&T

Re: USA Roaming Partners

I also found AT&T didn't work when I was in Chicago the other week.  AT&T did work in New York though, well at JFK airport anyway.

I did ask EE about it but no-one got back to me.

I even got this at one point:

No idea what was going on with that, but it was whilst I was at JFK Airport?

Re: USA Roaming Partners

Hi @Pagemakers

We do use various partners when roaming.

I will certainly try and look into this further.

Many thanks,

Lee

Thanks Lee

Mitchel - that is an iOS 11 bug. Looks like it’s been fixed now.

Re: USA Roaming Partners

I was leaving. I was there for 3 days and I could not log onto AT&T at all while I was there. However it did work as I was leaving from the airport.

Should I be able to connect to AT&T at all times in the USA?  I’m there often.

It will also depend what phone you have. This is a helpful site:

Re: USA Roaming Partners

Sorry. That’s irrelevant here. I have an iPhone 7+ and that has nothing to do with AT&T as an EE USA roaming partner.
