Re: Turn on roaming

@base82: Roaming is activated on PAYG anyway. If it's stopped working you will need to contact CS.

Do you have credit or allowance to make calls?

Re: Turn on roaming

hello,  I have tried to conect to various networks here in france orange free etc

all worked fine until 3 days ago for two weeks whilst i am on holiday.

i had my harrier phone unlocked just before i left the uk 17 Aug.

If I put the simm into an old nokia phone it will conect to any network here

so i thinks it is something to do with the harrier phone and international roaming.i have check the setting on the harrier to make sure call baring for international is un checked and roaming is clicked on  and even did a facory re set several soft re sets .

your help would be appricated with this one.

Regards

Re: Turn on roaming

Hello there @base82

If the SIM card is working fine this will be the device.

Are you able to contact us from the other device so we can get this looked into?

This will need our technical support team for further investigation.

Thanks, Leanne.

Re: Turn on roaming

I never had a response to my roaming problem .

If I switch off the phone for several hours then

turn it back on I can register on a local network but this only last a few minutes.

I think it  roaming needs to be aurthoised by EE customer support.

I am stuck with a EE phone that still does not conncet.

Not a haappy customer

Re: Turn on roaming

Hi Leanne yes I agree I think its something to do with my Ee Harriet phone .As I stated it was unlocked on Aug 17 via unlock code all worked perfectly in the UK and here in France for two weeks then cannot connect to networks if I put the sim in an old unlocked Nokia it finds the network straight away which leads me to suspect there is a configuration setting for this Ee harrier phone at your end that may resolve this issue your help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.I can on you my account details and I me I if this helps tks Brian
