Tethering in the US

Hi.

Im on one of the new Sim Only Max 30GB tariffs. I’m travelling to the US in December and know that the fair usage policy would allow me up to 15GB worth of data as part of my tariff without extra charges.

Can i I use my iPhone as a hotspot to allow me to also use my iPad free of charge or would I incur extra charges for tethering?

Have been scrolling through the forums but haven’t seen this answered.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Mark

Re: Tethering in the US

Hi @Lee_H

I'm heading to New York at the start of December. Got wee trip to Gdansk first though in October - so this EE Max tariff is ideal, especially now that I know I can still tether when away too.

Re: Tethering in the US

Hi @spicester

You will like Gdansk, the old town is amazing.

If you can pop to a Lechia Gdansk football match, they are brilliant.

I've not been to New York so can't comment.

Many thanks,

Lee
