Temporary contract change to enable phone use in the USA is not working. Help?

Changed contract in UK before going on holiday.  So far not been able to receive any coverage bars for calls or data. Can only access hotel wifi.

I think that you may need to activate roaming.  That is potentially the problem.

 

Please see our Roaming with EE - What to do if you're having problems abroad support article.

 

Some of the hints, tips and tricks may help to get things working for you.

 

If not, please log in to your MYEE and await a live chat with an advisor.

Hi, 

 

Did you activate roaming before you left the UK? 

 

If not then this will be your problem. You need to contact EE by using another phone or via live chat. This can be accessed via your online account or via the contact us page. 

 

CS also work to UK time.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

Hi

Before leaving UK I got a text message confirming contract change and date and time new service would begin. There were no additional instructions given.
