Still no signal abroad - what can I do?

I'm in Amsterdam and over 72 hours ago I turned mobile data abroad on, it said it would take 24 hours but I still cannot get any service, it just says 'No Signal'. My account is set up to use abroad. Please can you help? Smiley Happy

Thanks for coming back to us and trying this.

 

Can you log into your My EE account online and go to Menu > Manage Device > Roaming Abroad and also Call Abroad and Premium Rate

 

Do they both show as ticked?

 

If not, can you turn both settings on within your My EE?

Are you using a pay as you go or pay monthly plan?

 

Have you tried any of the tips in EE Roaming - What to do if you're having problems abroad?

I've done the manual network search but EE isn't one of the options, only T-mobile NL, NL KPN, vodafone NL and Tele2 NL Smiley Sad

Hi @calwoodford,

 

You won't see EE as an option as you'll need to connect to a local network.

 

Have you had any success connecting to any of the network options you can see?

Ah thank you! Smiley Very Happy I did change them but it appears they turned back off - strange! Hopefully it’ll work this time

They can take up to 24 hours to activate for you.
