Roaming not activated on time

Hi, I only bought my phone 2 days ago and did not realise I have to call to activate my roaming. I'm unfortunately leaving to Spain on holiday at 3am tomorrow so I can't contact 150 in time, but I will desperately need my phone. Is there any change I can have it activated somehow? Can I call customer service while abroad, despite not having activated roaming? Thank you!

Re: Roaming not activated on time

You need to enable roaming while you are in UK. Text ROAMING to 150 to see if it is enabled & what you have to do.

Re: Roaming not activated on time

I texted an hour ago,and this is what I received:

"Okay, right now your phone is not set up to use abroad. To get set up (a deposit may be required) dial 150 from your handset and go to the roaming menu"

However, as it's now past the working hours I can't get in touch with them 😞

Hello there @Georgiana

Thanks for coming to the community.

Our customer services team will be able to help you get roaming set up.

I recommend logging into your My EE account on your phone's browser (not the app) or a computer.

Once you're logged in, a chat window will pop up when an advisor is available.

If you can't get in contact with chat, please get in touch from an alternative phone.

Hope you have a great time.
