Roaming in Spain - No Network

Been in Spain for a day and my phone can’t pick up a network! Checked all settings and still no joy. Phone and contract not changed since last trip and if worked then ! Any thoughts / help appreciated,

  • If you have an iPhone then try resetting your network settings.
  • If that doesn't work then try manually selecting a network under network settings. 


You can also try logging into your online account and making sure roaming and international calls are activated. Also check roaming is activated on your device under network.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

Thanks both for the prompt replies, much appreciated!


i tried all of the suggestions including trying to manually connect to networks and it still wouldn't work until I tried Orange_Sp which after thinking about it allowed me to connect,


Ive checked that works and then also toggled back to automatically connect and it now picks up Orange_Sp as expected,


Seems a bit weird but it looks like if you force the initial network connections it picks up the settings and allows auto connect after that.
