Roaming in Serbia

Hello everyone,

I am currently outside of the UK in Serbia (non-EU), I normally use pay as you go option (so no contract at all, just good old top ups) and would like to know if I would still be able to receive texts while here? I did receive one text from 150 which is EE. Also, I have put the sim card to a different phone if this matters, which is one of the old Nokias (C1-02 to be precise). Is there any way I can find out if I'm able to receive texts here and anything I should do to set up this phone?

Thank you!
