ROAMING USA

I have a 12M SIM MAX PLAN 12GB ***PRE 10 MAY 2017****

I AM GOING TO THE USA FOR 10 DAYS.

I believe that my MAX PLAN only includes the EU as it was taken out before MAY 10th 2017 (MAX plans taken out after this date include the EU and 5 other countries including the USA)

What add-on(s) do I need?

I want to be able to text/ phone people who will be in the USA with me.

Ideally, I would like to be able to use data for internet browsing too but this is not essential.

Re: ROAMING USA

Thank you! Probably a stupid question but will the TRAVEL DATA PASS allow me to text and talk or do I need to buy WORLD TEXT AND TALK as well?!

Travel Data Pass
Choose Travel Data Pass and use your phone abroad in our most popular destinations just like you do at home. It gives you 500MB data for a fixed price per day - £4.80 in the USA and Canada and £6 in nine other countries (Turkey, Australia, UAE, India, Thailand, Mexico, South Africa, China and New Zealand).
So there’s no need to hunt around for WiFi. And no chance of an unexpected bill when you get home. Opt in once and you’ll only be charged on days you use data abroad in an included country.

World Select Talk and Text

gives you unlimited calls and texts in five of the most visited countries outside Europe - the USA, Canada, Turkey, Australia and the UAE - for £6 a day.

Re: ROAMING USA

You'll need both. The TDP only buys data.

Re: ROAMING USA

It might be worth asking EE how much to upgrade to the modern EE Max plan & save buying add-ons in USA. A lotta users seem to be doing that.

Re: ROAMING USA

I've just asked customer services... the only deal they can offer me for the same price as I pay now is  the 'new MAX plan' - 4GB , unlimited texts/calls.

This would replace my current 12GB, unlimited texts/calls. I currently have a REALLY cheap deal!

I'm only going to the USA for 10 days so the add ons may be the way to go.

Thanks again!
