Puerto Rico included with USA on max?

Is Puerto Rico included with USA for roaming? I’m on EE new Max with the five additional countries.

No, it's  a separate country in its own right. For charges there see http://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/call-or-going-abroad/roaming-costs/countries/puerto-... .

Puerto Rico seems to be treated like the United States. I haven’t had to purchase any addons. I’m on New Max.

Ah! Looks like EE's Puerto Rico roaming page is wrong.

Re: Puerto Rico included with USA on max?

Hi @davidthornton

Hope you're having a brilliant trip. 🙂

What options are you given when you go to the data add-on help page (when not connected to WiFi)?

Are you able to use your data connection without WiFi enabled/connected or does it divert you to the page I referenced above?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Re: Puerto Rico included with USA on max?

I think it's because they use the same AT&T and T-Mobile networks in Puerto Rico used in mainland USA as well.

Any other networks in use there may well not include allowances (there are a few others you may or may not have access to).

Re: Puerto Rico included with USA on max?

I didn’t have to do anything when I arrived. Data just functioned as it would in Europe. I am on New Max. I have another sharer phone that also functions identically.

If I try to visit the URL you mentioned I see the following (attached). 22789F04-56F0-4509-A86F-EC69B9F35A0D.jpeg

Hi @davidthornton

This does sound very peculiar.

I have sent you a private message to look further into this for yourself.

Many thanks,

Lee

Re: Puerto Rico included with USA on max?

It seems to be working now. I’m not sure why I received that error earlier. This screenshot was taken on an iPhone connected to T-Mobile. I get a similar one on my other iPhone connected to AT&T.
