I am currently out of the UK or EU. Before that I got the EE PAYG sim card (£15 International sim for 3GB data, 250 mins and 500txt), but the card was firstly used abroad (outside UK & EU) area. I tried to check the balance online via MyEE, it shows that all the data, mins and txt subscription values are 0. In addition, I can't send any txt to 150, it has an "error10" message. I checked the call barring setting that "All outgoing calls" option is turned ON. However, I am not able to turn it off without the password. BTW, I am still currently abroad. Will things get back to normal when I go back to the EU areas a few days later? Would appreciate your help. Many thanks.

I didn't activate the sim on the UK network before leaving the UK. The sim was activated in Asia instead. However, I am heading to EU a few days later. Just worry that the sim is locked and still can't be used when I am in EU. Many thanks.

I believe you need to activate the SIM in the UK EE network before it will work. You cannot do this abroad. You haven't said how long ago you obtained the SIM as hibernation might be an issue as well.
EE Sims are designed for EE UK network.

I just got the sim card a week ago, and activated it a few days ago. In addition, I have tried it in different mobiles. The results are the same. The sticker on the package stated that the last activation date is before end of Aug/Sep 2018. After inserting the sim card into the mobile, there are data and phone roaming signals. However, it just can't make calls or send out any txt.
