Number withheld when roaming.

Over the last 3 months, I noticed people were not returning my calls when I was in Dublin.

It transpires that when I am roaming in the Republic of Ireland, my number is withheld when calling back to the UK. As soon as I cross the border onto my home network, my number is no longer withheld.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: Number withheld when roaming.

Hello @Valenni this has been reported before and appears to be an issue with roaming on the ROI network:

Was there another network you could use by performing a manual network search? Apart from the inconvenience of showing as witheld when roaming it should have no other effect on your account.

Hi @Valenni

Welcome to the community.

Please let us know how you get on after trying another available network:-

  • iPhone – Settings > Carrier > Toggle Automatic OFF
  • Android – Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Tap OK
  • Windows – Settings > Mobile Network > Network Selection > Tap on start manual search
