Not receiving calls in Mexico

Been in Mexico now 12 days. My phone not receiving calls. 

 

Tryed all the options listed. 

I’ve lost. 12 days of business usage and EE don’t seem interested to help. Or find a solution 

 

total joke when currently paying 300-400£ per month.  On calls.

I have been in Mexico now for 4 days. My phone has full international use.

I have not been able to receive calls  while I’m in Mexico. 

 

Im a business customer and this has been a severe financial problem to my business. 

 

I have phoned ee 6 times. And still no solution?? 

I see from the net other people have some. Problem.   

 

So so how can it be fixed. ?

@Richarde : If on contract, did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150?

Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Otherwise try logging into your My EE account online & go to Menu / Manage Device / Roaming Abroad and also Call Abroad and Premium rate. They will show as ticked if roaming and calling abroad is activated. If they are not ticked, can you activate these settings?

Not receiving calls

Tryed the options of ticking. Roaming. 

 

My phone is completely set up for roaming. Outside uk 

 

still the problem not fixed. 

 

Ive tryed another phone with my sim. And still the same not receiving calls.

Can call out.


But nothing incoming

Hi @Richarde

 

Thanks for coming back to us.

 

Have you tried connecting to a different network?

 

Settings > Mobile Data > Network Selection > Turn off Automatic

 

If you can try another network and let me know if this works for you?

Hi @Richarde 

 

I know from one of your other posts that you were able to connect to a network on the first day. This would indicate that your phone is set up for international roaming and that the problem could be down to local coverage.

 

Have you tried manually connecting to a network again recently? Do you know of anyone else who is having problems in the area that you're staying?

I’ve read from internet that a number of other EE customers have the same problem.

Txt message working. But no incoming calls.

Is it just incoming calls that aren't working?

 

Are you able to make outbound calls?

 

Do you know what happens at the callers end when they try to call you?

Yes just incoming calls.

When people call it just beeps 3 times and disconnects

I can call out no problem. And send/receive normal txt and iPhone messages.
