No signal in spain

Hi I have already arrived in Spain and getting no signal or service, my account stated I was ready for roaming, I'm on 4g extra plan. Can someone assist please? Very limited Wi-Fi and need to keep up with my emails and phonecalls! 😞

Hello @Nomonii what phone do you have? Try restarting it and/or try a manual network search to see what networks are available in the area. 🙂

Good morning @Nomonii

Welcome to the EE community and thanks for being one of our newest members 🙂

Are you having a good time in Spain?

Hope the weather is lovely and the Sun is shining daily 🙂

In terms of your service, has the information given by @Profile closed helped?

Did you activate roaming before you went away?

Are you a pay monthly personal or a pay as you go EE customer?

I'd strongly suggest having a look at our Roaming with EE - What to do if you're having problems abroad post and this will explain everything you need to do.

Let me know how you get on.

Thanks

Richard

Re: No signal in spain

April 1st 2018 and just arrived in Spain. never had a problem before but no mobile signal this trip. I have always had roaming set up and I have just told the phone to search and connect for available networks. no joy. can only use Wi-Fi where I can link to an available one.

I was here a month ago and many times before. thus time no signal and it seems no way of asking ee. I cannot phone 150. but I have just checke my permissions and roaming is ok.

@cz If you used this device a month ago then the issue is probably the network there that’s has the issue, is anyone your with have cellular network connection that’s a EE customer?

Re: No signal in spain . me too

Hi @cz

Please try manually selecting another network to see if this improves your connection:-

  • iPhone – Settings > Carrier > Toggle Automatic OFF
  • Android – Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Tap OK
  • Windows – Settings > Mobile Network > Network Selection > Tap on start manual search

Please let me know if that works.

Chris
