No network in USA

Hi,

 

I'm currently in the USA and cannot seem to connect to any network. I have enabled roaming on my ee account, reset network settings, tried connecting manually etc. Any other ideas?

Hi @shonac and welcome to the Community.

 

So I can try and help, please may I get you to perform a manual network search and choose a network other than what you are on.

 

Do try and turn to 3G only signal.

 

Please also can I get you to try and ring using format of 00447*********

 

Also, please let me know If you are using an EE personal or business account?

Hi Lee,

 

Thanks for the quick reply.

 

I have changed the phone to 2G/3G only.

 

A manual search gives me three  networks. Each one gives error message of "you cannot connect to this network at this time" message.

 

I can't call any numbers as have no network whatsoever.

 

I'm a personal customer.

 

Not sure if it makes any difference but it's an LG G3 (my new LG died last week so using the old one!) running Android 5.

So after contacting customer services my issues have been resolved. Apparently roaming wasn't enabled on my account after all despite my online account showing that it was switched on.  Thanks for your help in getting this resolved.
