My contract was originally 2g data to which I had an 8g package added.
I go to Spain every June for 2 weeks and sept for 1 week.
On browsing myEE earlier I noticed it said the 8g could only be used in the UK.
On ringing EE I was told this was always the case and I would only ever have been able to use 2g abroad without buying an extra data add-on.
Absolute fabrication as I constantly monitor my data as I use it a lot abroad.
£134 to leave my contract early.

@Guido1 You should be able to use the extra 8Gb of data. And to leave your contract early will require you to pay the remaining term of the contract minus 20%. Don’t for you agreed to a legal document that you agreed to pay each month until the minimum term. You now want out of that contract so you need to pay what you agreed and EE will reduce that by 20% as your paying the remaining term in full.

It seems I can't use the extra 8g DATA abroad (EU) and seemingly should never have been able to although I have never had a problem before.
A shame as was more than happy with EE.
