Hi there, I saw that you are a great problem solver so decided to text you in hopes that you would be able to help me with my issue. I went abroad yesterday for a holiday and everything was fine, I connected to a local service provider, but when I tried making a call to a uk number it didn’t allow me at all saying that my outgoing calls are blocked. I can call the local numbers here but none of the uk ones... I would really appreciate it if you could spare me some of your time please. Thank you for your time and have a great day!

Re: Network & service issues abroad

@Stilian9971 : Thanks 🙂 .

If on contract, did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150?

Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Otherwise try logging into your My EE account online & go to Menu / Manage Device / Roaming Abroad and also Call Abroad and Premium rate. They will show as ticked if roaming and calling abroad is activated. If they are not ticked, can you activate these settings?

Hi @Stilian9971

Welcome to the community. I hope you're having a lovely holiday so far 🙂

I think @XRaySpeX has hit the nail on the head. Sounds like it could be your international calling that needs to be activated through your My EE account.

Let us know how you're getting on.

Chris
