Son is in france can't connect to anything please help thank u

Thanks to everyone for trying to help  had already turned everything on and phone on and off asked for solutions on here and he's just text to say somehow it's working so don't know what it was that worked but thank you for replies x

Roaming is on phone and switched on in app

Is your son able to try manually selecting a network?

 

What phone is he using?

If on contract, did he activate roaming on his EE a/c before he left UK?

 

Try logging into his My EE account online & go to Menu / Manage Device / Roaming Abroad and also Call Abroad and Premium rate. They will show as ticked if roaming and calling abroad is activated. If they are not ticked, can he activate these settings?
