I am going to be moving to and working in France this winter for 5-6 months. I was just wondering if this affects roaming at all? Also is there the possibility of freezing my contract for 6 months if needed?

@kspencer Unfortunately EE do not freeze contracts and roaming is only valid for 30 days and you have to come back to UK to reset the 30 days again. You can still use the device if you don’t come back but you’ll be paying more for calls and texts and data usage.

@Chris_B Thank you! Do you know if there's anyway I can pay for unlimited roaming or an add on or something as part of my monthly contract instead of having to pay for calls/texts/roaming after 30 days away?

All EE plans are for people who are UK customers and travel to other countries on a short-term basis, not for people spending extended amounts of time abroad.
What this means is that if you’re spending 60 out of 120 days in the UK then an EE plan, and it’s inclusive roaming benefits, will be great for you.
If you’re out of the country for longer than 60 days then this may not be the best option.

Hi @Richard_C thanks for your help! As I'm already just over a year into my 2 year contract what do you think would be the best option for me? Or should I just ring up and ask?
