Moving to Qatar

Hi

 

i am moving to Qatar, I am currently 8 months into a 2 year contract. What are my options with regards to my contract?

 

can you use inclusive data/roaming package in Qatar?

 

can I retain my uk contract, but unloading my phone for use in Qatar?

 

any advice appreciated

@Lundylad    Depending on what phone tariff you have your phone might only work for 30 days out there on a roaming network it will then lose signal as some tariffs only allow you to use your device abroad for 30 days at a time.  

 

ive just text RO QATAR to 150 to see the costs and this was the reply 

 

"Thanks for your request. Calls made in QATAR to the UK and the EU are charged at £1.50/min & £1.50/min to receive. Texts to UK mobiles cost 50p & non-UK 50p. Get more info at ee.co.uk/roaming.
To check if your phone is set up for to use abroad reply ROAMING."

 

Its s going to be expensive.
