Mobile data stopped working abroad despite data and roaming being on.

Tried resetting with a network settings reset but nothing. Any advice?

Did you try the manual network search and trying another operator (the instructions are above)?

 

This will help rule out if the issue is solely with the operator you're currently connected to.

Hi,

 

Have you exceeded your fair usage policy:

 

Is there a limit to how much data I can use in the EU?

If your domestic data allowance is greater than 15GB, you will be subject to a fair usage policy of 15GB whilst you are roaming in our Europe Zone: this means you can use a maximum of 15GB from your data allowance while roaming.

When the fair usage policy applies to you, once you have used up 15GB when roaming, we will notify you and you’ll have to buy a data add-on if you want to keep using data when roaming.

Also try manually connecting to the mast.

 

If you are PAYG have you run out of data/credit?

Just to add a little on top of this, here are the instructions to perform a manual network search:-

 

  • iPhone – Settings > Carrier > Toggle Automatic OFF
  • Android – Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Tap OK
  • Windows – Settings > Mobile Network > Network Selection > Tap on start manual search

Hi
Thanks for both replies. I've not exceed my fair usage data allowance and
manually selecting the network has had no impact either. I've had no
messages from EE saying anything other than welcome to Croatia and
explaining that texts, calls and data come off my standard allowance.
I'm a pay monthly customer and when we first arrived in Croatia everything
was fine, now nothing.

Thanks, I tried a couple of different operators and that seems to have worked.
