Max plan in america

I was told by someone at ee that when I got to america on the max plan I could use my phone and data as normal with no extra cost.is this correct???

Yes, as long as you took out your EE Max Plan after 10 May 2017. Your data is limited to 15 GB / month if your UK allowance is more.
