I am half way thru an EE 24 month contract and will be going to Spain for 15 months soon.
Is there a way to use the phone and same number as normal for the whole of that time even if it needs extra payment to EE?

Hello @tim7 there is not no the maximum time you can use an EE SIM card abroad is any 60 out of 120 days. EE do not offer any long term roaming plans.

Hi @tim7 and welcome to the community.
Please bear in mind all EE plans are for people who are UK customers and travel to other countries on a short-term basis, not for people spending extended amounts of time abroad.
What this means is that if you’re spending 60 out of 120 days in the UK then an EE plan, and it’s inclusive roaming benefits, will be great for you.
If you’re out of the country for longer than 60 days then this may not be the best option.

@tim7 You can use the SIM card it’s just after the set period of time you’ll be charged for international calls/texts and data.
