I received a text from 1024 is this an official ee number

Help, I’m currently in the USA. I have roaming as an add on and my data has been fine. I received a text t message from 1024 as follows “From EE: To access the internet you'll need to buy one of our Roaming Data add-ons so you'll always know what you're spending. There are different options depending how much you want to use the internet. To buy click here for free”

Since this message nothing works. I’ve checked my ee app and o still have 222mb of data. Please help me, regards

Hi @shamblesmcgint1

Welcome to the community. 🙂

Yes, the 1024 text did come from us.

Could you please check our add-on status page (when not connected to WiFi)?

Let me know what it says.

Chris

Edit to original message. Shortly after posting this message my data went down to 21mb then 0 This was while I was attached to a hot spot so my data wasn’t even an option.

Hi @shamblesmcgint1,

It looks like there may have been a delay in your remaining data updating.

Have you been able to purchase another add-on to get back online?

Thanks

James
