I'm in the Netherlands and I have no signal..my cellphone is not connecting

Hi, I have a plan in on th UK that allows me to send text me call from any country in the EU. Right now I'm in the Netherlands and my cellphone is not able to connect to any network, therefore I cannot call or text EE

Hi @josor001 Did you enable roaming on your account before you left? 

 

You could try and log into My EE and see if you can enable roaming, if you have a shared account go to Menu > Manage Device > Usage Controls > Roaming abroad & Call abroad and Premium rate - both options need 'Allow' selected.

 

Failing that, you will need to contact EE, either by Live chat. If you log into MyEE on your phone through a browser you might get a pop up, or call them. Are you with anyone else who has a working phone?

 

You can use Skype to call EE for free if you have wifi? Skype EE on +44 800 956 6000. 0800 calls are free on Skype, you don't need credit.

No..I didn't!! I didn't know I was supposed to do so.
Do you know how can I enable roaming now that I cannot call the EE service
line?

Hi @josor001 You need to follow the steps listed in the guide here

 

It's obviously a little harder now you're abroad. If you can't enable roaming from MyEE then you will need to contact customer services. Either Live Chat from a PC or call. Using Wifi and skype is probably your best bet unless you are with someone else with a working phone. Download Skype and call EE on +44 800 956 6000
