I’m have a PDP authentication error. Please advise

I’m having a PDP authentication error while in Vietnam. Can you please advise?

Welcome to the community. 

 

This sounds like a mobile data related problem. Do you have an active international data add-on?

 

You can choose one through our add-on status page, when not connected to WiFi.

Thank you Chris for your answer!
When I try to activate an add on it gives me the error message about PDP authentication unfortunately. I used my phone abroad on many occasions and I remember that I had the same issue a couple of times in the past but I can’t recall how it was resolved. I wonder if it wasn’t an issue that had to be addressed on the EE side.

Could you try manually selecting a different Vietnamese mobile operator?

 

Device type Actions
iPhone Settings > Mobile Data > Network Selection > Turn off Automatic
Android Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Tap OK
Windows Settings > Mobile Network > Network Selection > Tap on start manual search
