Yes, it is part of EU. You may use your allowances there with up to 15 GB data per billing month if you have more.
If you are on contract, remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave to check roaming is enabled on your account.

Just to add, you can check you are set for roaming and making calls abroad within your My EE account online as below 🙂
You can check this by logging into your My EE account online and go to Menu > Manage Device > Roaming and Call abroad and Premium rate calls > This will show as ticked if you're set up for roaming and making calls when abroad.
If this is not ticked, can you activate this before you go abroad?
