I am already abroad and have been unable to make calls or texts. How do I set up roaming? I can't text to 150 as have no service.

I hope you're having a fantastic holiday so far.
You can ensure roaming is enabled on your My EE account by following these instructions:
Login to your My EE account > Menu > Manage Device > Roaming Abroad > This will show as ticked if roaming is active.
If this is already active I would recommend a manual network selection, please follow these steps to completed this:
iPhone – Settings > Mobile Data > Network Selection > Turn off Automatic
Android – Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Tap OK
Windows – Settings > Mobile Network > Network Selection > Tap on start manual search
Finally if this does not resolve, I would ask you to try switch 4G off.
