i have just arrived in iceland and my phone does not seem to connect at all with the local network? I cannot call/text/use my data as advertised on the website. EE’s online chat is also unavailable so I’m wondering if anyone can help me?

@MikeJ1 Have you restarted the device since you got there ? did you enable roaming on your account before you left the UK? your allowance usage abroad still needs to have roaming enabled on your account as roaming is not part of your contract.
to use online chat you need to login to your online account and wait for the live chat window to pop up, it only pops up when a agent is free to chat.

In addition to @Chris_B's advice, please try the troubleshooting below too:
Try re-booting your device
Try turning 4G off in ‘settings’
Perform a manual network search:-
|iPhone||Settings > Carrier > Toggle Automatic OFF|
|Android||Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Tap OK|
|Windows||Settings > Mobile Network > Network Selection > Tap on start manual search|
Please let me know if any of that works.
