Hi all, heading to the US for the very first time. Can I still use my phone?

Hi, just checking what my options are when I go to the US. Never been before so not sure what to do. Any advice much appreciated

@Nickster: Is this a mobile phone or a 4GEE WiFi device as you originally posted under? Not all 4GEE WiFi devices work outside EU.

 

Your mobile phone will work in US but you will have to pay charges as in https://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/call-or-going-abroad/roaming-costs/countries/usa unless you are on an EE Max Plan.

 

Remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave to check roaming is enabled on your account.
