Hi. I'm getting a message saying "Could not activate mobile data network".

Getting message "Could not activate mobile data network". But I've got data left, and I've turned data and roaming on.

Is roaming activated on your account?

 

I assume you are abroad?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

It’s actually my daughter’s phone she’s in the states. Roaming is on, data is on, she’s got data left on her account. I’ve been onto myEE cos I pay her bill and everything is turned on for the account. Phone helpline closed till 8am tomorrow. Any ideas ???!!!

I have had issues all day today - Roaming works on ATT and TMoble only 
Best to try to select alternate carrier if you can reboot and connect 

Mine has not worked ALL day today but have just got it working on Tmobile albeit slowly

Try manually switching to use the T-Mobile network only when roaming in the US.

 

AT&T are hopeless now for roaming on when in the US.

Welcome to the community.

 

How did your daughter get on manually selecting T-Mobile US?

 

  • iPhone – Settings > Carrier > Toggle Automatic OFF
  • Android – Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Tap OK
  • Windows – Settings > Mobile Network > Network Selection > Tap on start manual search
