Hi,I am using my EE max plan in the USA. Why is my carrier showing T-mobile?

Hi,

I switched to EE max plan before coming to the USA. I initially wasn’t able to use my data or anything but have access to it now after turning data roaming on but my mobile carrier is showing as T-mobile not EE?? I’m confused as to whether this data I’m using is from my plan or wil I be charged for this on a normal roaming rate. I got a message confirmation upon landing in the USA that my EE Max plan is ready to use.

Does anyone know how it works??

many thanks!!

Re: Hi,I am using my EE max plan in the USA. Why is my carrier showing T-mobile?

There is no EE network in the USA.

They have roaming agreements. You are connected to the T-Mobile US network.

You will be using your MAX allowance.
