No, Turkey is not in the EU or the 5 extra countries for the Max plans. You will need to pay as detailed in https://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/call-or-going-abroad/roaming-costs/countries/turkey... .

Remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave to check roaming is enabled on your account.

So what does this mean under the countries listed for the max plan?

Note: Turkey (you may connect to a Turkish network in Northern Cyprus) and Andorra are outside the EU/EEA and not included in our European Roaming Zone.

Re: Hi. I am going to N Cyprus in July and i have the max plan. Is this covered?

It's a warning that:

  • While in N. Cyprus you may be connecting to a Turkish network
  • While in Spain you may be connecting to a Andoran network

& both of these are not in the EU & therefore not covered by EE Roaming plans.

This warning is not specific to Max plans which only add roaming in Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand and USA to coverage in the EU.
