I was in Spain about 9 moths ago and my phone would make or receive calls. It wouldn’t let use my data either. Whenever I phoned someone it came up with a voice saying “unauthorised selection”. I phoned customer support once back in the UK and they told me everything is set up for using my phone abroad... I’ve just landed in Zante and it still doesn’t work.
I can’t even phone customer support!
To make things even worse my partner’s phone won’t work either.
Can anyone help?

I am sorry to hear this is not working for you.
Can you check your call abroad and premium rate calls are set up;
You can check this by logging into your My EE account online and go to Menu > Manage Device > Call abroad and Premium rate calls > This will show as ticked if you're set up for making calls when abroad.
Do they show as ticked? if not, can you activate this?

Could you try and connect to a different network;
iPhone – Settings > Mobile Data > Network Selection > Turn off Automatic
Android – Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Tap OK
Windows – Settings > Mobile Network > Network Selection > Tap on start manual search
