Going on a cruise, previously unable to use EE at sea - is this still the case?

I'm going on a cruise next month and need to be contactable. I know its very expensive to use my phone but I need to be able to text home during our 5 days with no ports. On a previous cruise I couldn't connect to the maritime signal with EE but previously I could with T mobile. I know this has been discussed on old threads but can anyone tell me if EE have sorted this out now and can I now connect to a maritime signal? Many thanks.

Hello there @Brycec

Thanks for posting on the community.

If you text ROAMING to 150, this will let you know if you are set up to use the phone abroad.

Full costs on using your phone on the cruise can be found on the Maritime costs Help page.

Thanks, Leanne.
