Hi, I sse that the new max plans include a clause to set a limit on EU roaming to 60 days in a 120 day period. The terms for the pre May 10th plans are unchanged at requiring UK use every 30 days.
Did you find out if this going to change?

If you would like to benefit from the additional countries, you have the option to change to one of the new Max Plans (following the current migration rules as set in the changing price plan topic).
Hi @Karen_C, the 'changing price plan topic' does not seem to apply much to this situation.
On @TiffJ's pinned post in the Roaming forum, it is made clear that existing Max Plan customers can switch to the new Max Plans to include USA etc. roaming without extra charge or other restrictions.
Can you please confirm this is correct?

I think EE mean you can move to a higher price plan and there's no additional cost, apart from the much higher cost per month for the new Max plans.
I'm currently on the 20GB for £25 plan. I can move for free and pay £33 a month for 12GB.

I don't know what they've been smoking at EE, but the pricing of the new plans is just ridiculous! Double the cost for half the allowance. Typical strategy, give with one hand and take with the other. But hey, at least we have 'free' EU roaming (only because they've been forced by law, and not out the goodness of their heart so don't believe their marketing rubbish).

Good morning @tee_cee
Yes we can confirm this will be the same as the new Max Plans, as below.
All EE plans are for people who are UK customers and travel to other countries on a short-term basis, not for people spending extended amounts of time abroad.
What this means is that if you’re spending 60 out of 120 days in the UK then an EE plan, and it’s inclusive roaming benefits, will be great for you.
If you’re out of the country for longer than 60 days then this may not be the best option.
Thanks very much 🙂

Thanks for the clarification.
Can you confirm what date that the new t&c's come into effect?
Also, I unserstand with the EU regs, that there is a further 2 week "consultation", after which you have an option to charge for EU usage.
Would it be possible to clarify your intended charging stucture - or are you just going to disconnect customers?

Hi I just recieved a message saying I get EU Roaming from the 15th June. But I have just upgraded from a pay monthly sim to a pay monthly phone and sim.
Im travelling to Rhodes on the 10th June and the man that I took the contract with other the phone. He said that I will already have this as part of my new upgrade.

Hi @Kelsf88 and welcome back,
The text message is an automatic text message going to all our customers.
If you have taken out a new contract or upgraded after the 10th of May, you are able to use your plan for roaming straight away.
Sorry about the Confusion.

Hi awesome I was abit confused. Thats good handy for when I go on holiday.
Rhodes Greece is included in the available countries yeah?

Unlike some countries whose islands oddly have different statuses (e.g. UK), all the Greek islands hold the same political status as mainland Greece, so all rules that apply to the Greek mainland will also apply to all the islands (minus perhaps a lower VAT rate, although that is changing soon).
