EE Roaming - Phone won't connect in Germany

Hi Folks,

My wife has recently landed in Germany and had hoped to use her phone whilst there for work. Apparently the phone needs to activate roaming but as she has had an upgrade recently she cannot do this until 2 months of bills have elapsed.

Surely this cannot be the case. When she upgraded the agent in the EE shop did not make her aware of this despite knowing she travels with work and would need access abroad.

She has spoken (and I have also tried) to EE but whilst the operators are friendly they stand fast and say they cannot change this.

Not good business from EE I am afraid.

My wife is now without any phone whilst working and travelling in some pretty remote areas of Germany.

Any advice or help appreciated

Mark

Hi @MD12

They usually ask for a deposit and then activate your service, if your credit score doesn't allow the service from point of sale.

If not then there isn't much you can do.

Thanks

Thanks

She has been an EE customer for over 10 years so surprised this should be an issue. Will have to take time off work tomorrow and visit the EE shop to see if they can help

Unfortunately still not connected, nor any callback from EE.
