The new roaming charge changes mean we can call the UK from some European countries using inclusive minutes. Does this work the other way round too - can we call Europe from the UK using inclusive minutes?

Calls and texts from France to Germany are included for example.
However, it's not possible to text or call Europe from the UK without being charged under EU roaming. Can someone please explain the reason for this please?

Hello there @Stevo2.
The changes are for using the phone abroad when Roaming not calling abroad.
We have a number of add-on's for calling abroad including a free of charge add-on that gives you reduced rates.

@Stevo2: Calling abroad from UK is not roaming; you are not abroad. It is making International calls which are not included in your allowances.. You can get cheaper International calls & texts by texting CALL ABROAD to 150.

Thanks Leanne. What about calling Spain if you are in France (for example)? Is that included? They were saying in the newspapers this weekend that this type of call was not included - only calls from Europe to UK. Can you clarify please? Thanks
(why did I ever think this would be simple?!)

Calls from any EU country except UK to any EU country are included.
