I get error code 34 when i try to text, and when I try to call it says my account isn't validated.

Many thanks

@Firethrough   Did you enabled roaming on your account before leaving the UK

I realised I hadn't registered an account with ee online so I've just been doing that, it says roaming is enabled now, but I don't know what if it was before

@Firethrough  If you’ve just enabled it then it wasn’t and it can take up to 24 hours before your get a working signal on your device.   It also might be worth restarting the device a few times as it’s best to do this when you go abroad.

Thanks! If that doesn't work what would the next step be?

@Firethrough  You need to give it time first.  If it doesn’t enable then come back here and it can be looked into.  But you need to wait first.

Re: Currently aboard in USA, can't use text or calls

Hi @Firethrough

As advised by @Chris_B it can take a little while to activate - sometimes up to 24 hours.

If it's still not working once that's passed pop back and let us know.

Also if you let us know if you're a personal or business customer.

Thanks - Karen. Smiley Happy
