I need some help please. I can't text or call out whilst abraod. Yet i received a text to say i can. I can't even phone the freefone number for asisstance.

Hello @petrina-jones you can check if roaming has been enabled on your account by logging in to MYEE online and navigating to MYEE>Manage device:
If it has not been enabled then customer service on +447953 966 250 from another phone can enable this for you or if it is an EE personal pay monthly account you can access Live Chat using one of the ways mentioned in this link:

So I can try and help, please may I get you to perform a manual network search and choose a network other than what you are on.
Please also can I get you to try and dial a friend or family member using format of 00447*********, did this work?
Also, please let me know If you are using an EE personal or business account?
